03 / Physical production

Make the idea real, ready to play.

From first prototype to physical product, Goolee helps shape board games, learning tools, custom components and small-batch production with purpose.

The Goolee difference

Production is part of the experience, not the last step.

We think about how a product is handled, explained, shared and used in the real world. That keeps decisions about materials, components and production connected to the people and purpose behind the idea.

What you get

A clearer route from first piece to finished product.

We can help at the beginning, in the middle of a prototype loop or when a physical product needs to be prepared for real-world use.

A good fit when

The object has to work beyond the workbench.

Bring us in when the physical details affect how people learn, play, participate or deliver the experience.

01 / CONCEPT TO PIECE

You need a first prototype

You have a sketch, file or reference and need something physical to handle and learn from.

02 / PRODUCT REFINEMENT

The prototype needs a reality check

You need to test size, handling, durability, instructions or the flow of the experience.

03 / SMALL PRODUCTION

You are preparing a usable run

You need to organise the components and details before producing a practical batch.

What we deliver

From a first piece to a finished experience.

Start with a sketch, a digital file or a production question. We can help you decide what to make next.

Custom 3D printing

Produce custom pieces, prototypes and functional components for testing, play and small runs.

02

Game and kit production

Bring boards, pieces, packaging and learning materials together into a coherent product.

03

Prototype refinement

Check proportion, handling, play flow and durability before committing to a larger production decision.

04

Use-ready preparation

Prepare the physical product, instructions and supporting materials so it works beyond the workbench.

Our working rhythm

A practical route from sketch to something people can hold.

Physical work improves through seeing, touching and testing. We make those decisions visible before production gets expensive.

01 / DEFINE

Scope it

Clarify the purpose, users, quantity, materials and constraints.

02 / PROTOTYPE

Make it

Create a first version that is useful enough to handle and discuss.

03 / TEST

Use it

Check the object in the hands and environment it was made for.

04 / PRODUCE

Refine it

Lock the practical details and prepare the next production run.

Questions before we start

Let’s make the production brief clearer.

The more we understand about use, quantity and timing, the more useful our production guidance can be.

Do I need a finished 3D file?

No. A sketch, reference photo, rough dimensions or physical example can be enough to start the conversation.

Can you support small quantities?

We are well suited to prototypes, custom pieces, learning tools and small-batch physical products. Quantity and finish will be discussed against the brief.

What information helps with a production enquiry?

Share what the item is for, who will use it, the approximate quantity, any reference files and the date you need it by.

Have a physical idea that needs to take shape?

Share your concept, reference image or rough sketch. We will help you understand the most useful next step—prototype, refine or produce.
